Anyone else notice how popular sweet potatoes have become of late?
They’re everywhere – from being made into chips, wedges and mash to being a key ingredient in pies, bakes, soups, meat free burgers, crisps, chilli, falafel and baby food.
Almost every burger or American themed food restaurant I visit these days offers sweet potato fries or wedges as sides.

Master and now champion baker James Freeman
James, was outright winner at the esteemed World Bread Awards – a competition set up in 2013 to celebrate the best of British bread making. He won £1000 and a coveted trophy.

Well you won’t be alone because demand for premium mixers such as upmarket tonic waters and lemonades is rocketing so much that they have become the fastest growing area of the UK soft drinks market.
